James Steed 詹姆斯·史蒂德擁有50年的教學經驗，曾任教於東海大學、台灣大學、舊金山LRI語言資源中心（托福準備計畫）、紐約大學、高雄第一科技大學和高雄大學。他著有多本書籍，包括《突破托福壁壘》（Prentice-Hall出版），並曾擔任台北英語語言學校（ELS Taipei）主任、敦煌書店顧問、寧波國際學校顧問以及北京大學公共衛生學院顧問。目前，詹姆斯是科學和醫學研究論文的首席英文編輯，

James Steed has 50 years of teaching experience at 5 well-known universities (Tunghai Univeristy, Taiwan Univeristy, New York University) and two private TOEFL preparation centers (Language Resource Institute, Chenmei Taiwan). He has served an advisor to Ningbo International School and guest speaker at the School of Public Health at Peking University. He is one of the co-authors of Breaking the TOEFL Barrier published by Prentice-Hall. He has recently renewed his interest in TOEFL preparation—because the new TOEFL for 2026-2027 presents an exciting new challenge.
